Over the past few season, these bags have made it from transitional pieces to coveted summer essentials. Of course, I am talking about basket bags. Basket bags are synonymous with holidays – you usually see them as a carry-on for a day at the beach or for those easy breezy sun-soaked strolls to the countryside. These bags are now a bonfire wardrobe staple and I cannot be happier. They are the perfect companions for this season because they complement every outfit. A roughly hemmed sewn basket bag goes great with the bikini, a floral dress or jeans. They’re infinitely versatile and most of the bags I have come across are made from sustainable materials – so you’re doing your bit for the environment and looking good.
